There is no deadline for our self-funded residency application.
Although our calendar is very busy with several cultural activities at Kvitbrakka, we do have some days available for hosting creative guests throughout the year in the months january, may, june and december. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you wish to check if your chosen dates are available.
About K_AiR self-funded residency programme
Artists working in all types of media, writers, curators, creative people are welcome to apply to our independently-funded residency, allowing more guests to benefit from the facilities Kvitbrakka provides.
Kvitbrakka is located in Berlevåg, next to the Havnemuseum by the Hurtigruta quay. With a population of just over 900 inhabitants, Berlevåg is particularly known for its stunning arctic nature, the fishing industry and it's unique cultural life. Please check the film "Helt Normal Galskap" for a quick overview on the village's rich natural and cultural environment.
About our facilities
Accommodation: three bedrooms with double beds and writing-desks; shared bathroom with washing machine and tumble-dryer, fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining room.
Studios: two large studio spaces between 70m2 and 100m2, with high ceiling and natural light that can be shared or used individually.
